Transanima

While clinically turning the theater space into a white cube, Transanima Project proposes a visual as well as sensual experience that distresses the barriers between art and the life of the artist dramatically exposed.

Transanima Project

It is not that we are born a man or a woman.
We conform to that system of duality and to every idea the world relates to either one or the other.
We are told to fear all that’s in between the two extremes we unsuccessfully long to be.
Gender then becomes a part of us that doesn’t get to unravel with the rest of our personality.

This performance is a ride out of the two-way-only road.
A dance beyond the direction of the in-between.
A lean towards a crash at the path of Self-expression.
Where the only possible whiplash side effect is a (re)action of freedom – transcendence.
